RE: Hankook tires
for a large number of rv's,age of the tire comes in faster than wear.i put a set on my cl A 10,000 miles ago.plan to wear them out.time will tell.three of the people at the place where i bought them were running them,including the owner.i'd hate to throw away a set of expensive tires with alot of thread because of their age.

i lift the wiper arm off the windshield just enough and you will be able to find a good spot near the post to drill a hole,rch bigger than the rivet, through the arm,lift it off and push an unpopped?pop rivet through the holes.you can even drive with it in,very sturdy.

it's 14 miles from hwy 1,paved,tight,but easy in a 34' mh,10 mph at times,you'd have no problem until you get there.i called the recording today for a friend and they were of course full with 16 on the waiting list.

i talked to a rv detailer near me as i had a 2 ft piece of stripe that did not get the clear film taken off when mh was done a couple years ago,they said heat gun or hair dryer then alcohol to clean.piece a cake.

waterless car wash works real good.also a friend gave me a jug of Protect All Wash when he sold his rv.don't know how old it is but you wash from a bucket and dry ,no hose or rinsing,but i have not tried it.

i can remember when i got out of the air force in'66 and came back home.2 weeks later i had a full time job that i retired from 10 years ago.i was upset that my mom wanted $40 a month,remember,1966.jezz,how much could a 230 lb.6'3" kid eat.when i got married 6 months later and moved out she gave it back as a wedding present.
my kids did stay free at home as full time college.they worked and paid their own tuition.they are teachers with masters and a buss.owner.
if they are staying there just to avoid getting their own place,Do Not feel guilty introducing them to the real world.more parents should.just cause you can afford it doesn't mean it's right.you are doing them a favor they may understand someday.

we did the loop thru ynp and as far east as the badlands and up to glacier back thru idaho 9-10 to 10-29 last year.temps from 25 to 95,some rain to flurries but no problems.but that was last year.

chump change to some,plenty for others.as said,it depends on your spending.10 yrs. ago when we retired,that was about what we drew,now we need less,SS.medical is scary,$146 when i retired,$807 a month now,and we go twice a year.thought about for the first time using my VA benifits and they laughed at me.

you have not lost unless you sell.you're young.at the end of last year we had 8-10 yrs.worth of living expenses we had to do something with and put it in cd's.won't keep up with infl. but won't need our portfolio for awhile.been retired 10 yrs.,you have plenty of time,as long as you're in good funds.

i had the coils repl.in my last mh by an rv shop several yrs.ago.it never worked as well as before.took it back for a few days to have it checked and it was ok but i would buy a new fridge if it is getting older.new ones aren't that much.

no bad dogs,just bad owners.when i worked and had to go in a yard,always asked if they had a dog{we would get in trouble if bitten and hadn't asked}and was often told "yes but it doesn't bite".i would ask them "does it have teeth?" rather have them say it hasn't bitten anyone yet.
